How to Find the Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite and Get Overdrive

Fortnite Override offers plenty of Sprites for players to discover. Alongside the hunt for the elusive Klombo Sprite and the various Cheat Master versions, Epic Games has introduced another Sprite during the season’s second Power Hour. This time, players can search for the Storm Scout Sprite. Here is where to find it and what it can do.

Where to Find the Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite

The Storm Scout Sprite can be obtained through most of the methods used to find Sprites in Fortnite. The main options are opening Chests and using Cheat Codes, with Cheat Codes providing the best chance of getting the base version of the Storm Scout Sprite.

Since the Storm Scout Sprite is a Rare Sprite, Blue Rare Cheat Codes offer the best odds of finding it. The base version can be obtained through the following methods:

There are also several additional variants of the Storm Scout Sprite. These versions are considerably harder to find in Chests and Cheat Codes. Purple Cheat Codes provide the best chance of obtaining them.

The Storm Scout Sprite first entered the loot pool during Sonic Hours on Saturday, August 29 at 2 PM ET. However, players can continue finding it after the event ends.

What Does the Storm Scout Sprite Do?

The Storm Scout Sprite activates its ability while the player is inside the Storm, making its mechanics similar to the Cube Sprites from the previous season.

After taking 10 Storm damage, the Sprite grants the player Overdrive for a short period. Its duration depends on the Sprite’s level, starting at 10 seconds and reaching up to 20 seconds at the highest level.

Overdrive provides unlimited stamina, increased movement speed, and higher jump height for a limited time.

At maximum rarity, the Storm Scout Sprite gains another useful ability: it reveals future Storm Circles on the map. This makes it particularly valuable during the later stages of a match.

Like other Sprites, Storm Scout levels up by earning Sprite XP. Players can gain this experience through eliminations, opening containers, and extracting Sprites.

As a Reminder, Sony Will Hold Two Back-to-Back State of Play Broadcasts on September 3.
