Right across from your office in Mouse: P.I. For Hire is a bar called Little & Big. Inside, you’ll find a locked machine — the Prize D-Spenser — which can only be opened using special prize tokens. You’ll need to collect 20 of these tokens to claim its reward.
How to earn tokens: Playing “Baseball Cards”
To get tokens, you need to win the “Baseball Cards” mini-game.
At the back of the bar, there’s always a mouse ready to play against you. Each match costs $50.
While it’s a strategic card game, luck plays a big role.
You can improve your chances of winning by finding new cards during missions or buying them at the nearby Soup to Nuts shop.
Important: You only receive 1 token for a win. If you lose or draw, you get nothing—and your $50 is gone.
Best strategy: Use save scumming
Since you need 20 tokens to unlock the machine, you’ll need at least $1,000 (assuming perfect wins). To avoid going broke, use this trick:
- Before playing cards, go to your office and save the game at the typewriter.
- Head down to the bar and play a match.
- If you lose or draw, reload your save and try again to avoid losing money.
- If you win, return to your office, save again, and repeat the process for the next token.
What’s inside the Prize D-Spenser?
Once you collect all 20 tokens, you can unlock the D-Spenser.
Inside, you’ll find the X1 D-Mousefier — a powerful ray gun that instantly upgrades your combat arsenal. Along with the weapon, you’ll also earn the achievement “Everybody Loves Rayguns” for your card-playing success.
