How to Obtain the Rock Tusk Warthog Mount in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, the Rock Tusk Warthog Mount is a legendary creature that players can unlock in the jungle region of Delesyia. It is tied to a powerful ogre boss encounter located between several outposts south of the Bordig Ruins. After defeating this boss, players receive a special item that can be transformed into a Sigil, which then unlocks the ability to summon the warthog as a personal mount.

The boss you need to defeat is called Ravok of the Savage Fangs. He is an ogre riding a massive boar and carries a cannon that can knock players back if they are not careful. Similar to other mount unlocking bosses in the game, Ravok is connected to a quest, but no strict prerequisites are clearly required for him to appear.

The quest associated with this encounter is called Master of the Wetlands, which belongs to the Lords of the Unclaimed Lands faction. However, progression can affect whether the boss appears, since some players may encounter him only after advancing far enough in the story or exploring specific regions. In practice, he can be found while exploring south of the Bordig Ruins, especially after progressing through major content and unlocking other legendary mounts.

The fight itself is not the most complex in the game, but the area is crowded with additional ogres, including other mounted enemies. Because of this, it is recommended to prepare strong gear and invest in Abyss Artifacts to increase combat effectiveness. A reliable tactic is to use Quickstep, then a stab attack, followed by a turning slash when the boss attempts to disengage. The Quickstep and stab combination is especially useful for closing distance quickly.

After defeating Ravok, players receive the Rock Tusk Warthog Molar as a reward. This item must be taken to a witch NPC in order to craft it into a Sigil.

The crafting process works as follows:

The Rock Tusk Warthog has lower stamina compared to many other mounts, making it less ideal for long distance travel.

The Rock Tusk Warthog has lower stamina compared to many other mounts, making it less ideal for long distance travel. However, it can perform a charge attack even while stationary, which makes it useful for combat focused playstyles. It also features a single armor slot, similar to the Silver Fang mount in Crimson Desert.

As a Reminder,  players have named Red Dead Redemption 2 the greatest game of all time.
