During the EVO Japan 2026 festival in Tokyo, a new trailer for the upcoming fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls was revealed. The video confirmed the addition of Hulk and Black Panther as playable characters, forming part of a new team called The Fighting Avengers.
The role of Black Panther is taken on by Shuri, who struggles with internal doubts about whether she is worthy of the title. She is voiced by Erika Luttrell.
Hulk’s story will focus on his exile to the Savage Land due to his inability to control his power, which prevented him from leading both the government and the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. The character is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.
The trailer also introduced another character — Champion. He is one of the Elders of the Universe and a cosmic conqueror obsessed with hand-to-hand combat. He travels across space with his assistant, the Promoter, in search of worthy opponents.
In addition, the developers announced a new arena — Wakanda. This African location is described as a global leader in advanced technology while also preserving rich natural landscapes.
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is scheduled for release on August 6. The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Recall that EA Sports and Visa have announced a multi-year partnership across the FC and College Football franchises.
