Today, July 22, marks 10 years since the release of Human: Fall Flat — one of the most popular indie puzzle games, which gained millions of fans worldwide thanks to its unusual physics and co-op gameplay.
The game was developed by the Lithuanian studio No Brakes Games and published by Curve Games. Originally released on PC via Steam, the project was later ported to virtually all modern platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
The core feature of Human: Fall Flat is its character physics. Players control funny, rubbery characters with clumsy movements, turning even the simplest actions into hilarious situations. This is precisely what made the game an ideal choice for playing with friends, as well as a massive hit among streamers and content creators.
Over the past ten years, Human: Fall Flat has regularly received free updates featuring new levels, mechanics, and challenges. Additionally, an active community has created thousands of custom maps in the Steam Workshop, significantly extending the game's lifespan.
Over this time, the project became a true commercial success, selling over 50 million copies worldwide and solidifying its status as one of the most successful indie games of the past decade.
Currently, No Brakes Games is already working on Human: Fall Flat 2, which will retain the signature physics and co-op gameplay while offering new mechanics, improved graphics, and larger-scale levels.
Ten years after its release, Human: Fall Flat remains one of the best co-op games, proving that a simple idea built on fun physics and player creativity can become a global hit.
