The tournament's peak viewership surpassed that of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, which previously held the record with 2,748,434 peak viewers.
The tournament's final match ended with a 3-0 victory for Falcons.
The match also became the most-watched in the history of the IEM Cologne tournament series.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 took place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament featured a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
