The opening round of IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 in Counter-Strike 2 has officially concluded.
Monte and FUT Esports began the stage with victories, while Ukrainian side B8 suffered a narrow defeat in their opening match.

Monte and FUT now move into the 1-0 pool, where they will face other victorious teams in the second round. Meanwhile, B8 drops into the 0-1 bracket and will need to recover to keep its Stage 2 campaign on track.
Round 2 matches have already begun, with teams battling for an early advantage in the Swiss stage.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place in Cologne, Germany, from June 2 to June 21 and features a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
