Following Ubisoft’s recent announcement of a major «reorganization», which saw the company cancel six games, delay seven releases, shut down two studios and establish five Creative Houses dedicated to specific franchises, players were left wondering which projects managed to survive the internal shake-up.
That question has now been addressed by well-known French insider j0nathan. The blogger has repeatedly proven his insight into Ubisoft’s internal plans, making his claims largely trustworthy.
According to j0nathan, the company is still actively developing the following titles:
- Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced — a remake of the iconic 2013 pirate action game
- Assassin’s Creed Hexe — the next major entry in the franchise, set in medieval Europe during the Witch Hunts
- Assassin’s Creed Invictus — a multiplayer project set in the Assassin’s Creed universe
- Beyond Good Evil 2 — the longest-developed game in industry history, with 18 years of development and more than 500 million dollars reportedly spent
- Ghost Recon Project Over — a brand-new installment in the series, set in a fictional country in Southeast Asia
- Splinter Cell Remake — a remake of the first game in the legendary stealth action series, announced in 2021 with no updates since
- The Division 3 — expected to launch in 2027–2028
- Project Maverick — an extraction shooter set in the Far Cry universe, planned to release around the same time as Far Cry 7
As a reminder, GTA RDR Max Payne and other Rockstar Games hits are available on Steam with major discounts.
