Exclusive interview with the well-known English-speaking streamer, dima_wallhacks, and the full material is available in our new blog.
Interviewer: Okay. Hello, hello, brother. Happy to see you here. I have a few questions. How would you describe your stream in three words?
dima_wallhacks: Three words? Um, they can be separate words, not necessarily a full sentence, right? Energetic, chaotic, and weird. Yeah, we’re pulling out the big words.
Interviewer: Not bad, not bad. So how do you like Krakow, and do you think it can catch up with Katowice?
dima_wallhacks: Yes, I think it can. In my opinion, Krakow is a better city to explore. And actually, when we were in Katowice last year, we went to Krakow just to look around a little. So I prefer Krakow myself. I think it will catch up over time. I think it’s going to become a big event that every team will want to win someday.
Interviewer: But if we’re talking about Katowice as a legendary city, a legendary place, a legendary arena — might it be harder than you think? Or not?
dima_wallhacks: Well, it has big shoes to fill, that’s for sure. But I think Krakow’s got this. Yeah, I think so.
Interviewer: Great. And one more about s1mple — did you like his performance?
dima_wallhacks: s1mple’s performance? Yeah. Honestly, I didn’t expect too much from that team — it’s a very new roster. Chemistry is a big part of Counter-Strike, you know, how you play with your teammates. So I didn’t expect them to make the playoffs. It would’ve been nice, of course. I love watching s1mple play. But yeah, I hope the best for them in the future.
Interviewer: Who is your favorite to win the tournament?
dima_wallhacks: Most likely Vitality. Let’s be real. They’ve been dominating for a few months now, almost a year. They’re looking very strong. But I wouldn’t be surprised if FURIA wins.
Interviewer: Which team will you support? FURIA or Vitality?
dima_wallhacks: For me, this is a very hard question, because I love ropz. ropz is one of my favorite players. I love molodoy — he’s also becoming one of my favorites. It’s a very tough question. I’ve talked to both teams, I love the boys in both. I’d say it’s more about friendship — not some deep friendship where we hang out, but friendly, you know? So I don’t know, I can’t say. It’s going to be hard.
Interviewer: Okay. About the VAC incident — what was your first reaction when the match was stopped?
dima_wallhacks: I was very confused about what happened, because it happened in the middle of the game. They just stopped it. I knew there was a risk of getting a VAC ban, but I didn’t think it would be our stack. I thought maybe it was the enemies, because I’m playing with streamers — streamers don’t really cheat. But my friend got flagged for going 11–0, and I think the enemy team reported once and it triggered the ban. So I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t think it would be us, but in the end all of us got a 20-hour ban. So… lucky.
Interviewer: Do you prefer ESL’s arena production or their cinematics? Maybe you prefer BLAST or PGL? Who are your favorite tournament organizers?
dima_wallhacks: I think they all do a great job. I’m always very impressed with their production. BLAST Austin was amazing — with the bull skull. Last year, Katowice gave me actual chills from all the animations. I think I have to give it to IEM, but BLAST is right there as well.
Interviewer: If you were invited to create content for a tournament — maybe BLAST after this interview — which direction would you choose? Parody videos, revealing player personalities, match analysis with big names, or maybe opening the playoffs like Banks?
dima_wallhacks: That… I cannot fill Banks’ shoes. No way. I’d be very nervous. I think we’d do something more personal with the players. Not just talk about the game — talk about the players themselves. I feel like sometimes they don’t get to express themselves enough in interviews. They only talk about the game. Personally, I’m more interested in the players than in the game itself. So something like that — interviews, personal interviews, not too deep but still.
Interviewer: Okay, thank you, that’s all. Have a nice day.
dima_wallhacks: Have a nice day!
