Studios IO Interactive and Build A Rocket Boy have announced the end of their publishing partnership for the game MindsEye.
From now on, Build A Rocket Boy will take over all publishing responsibilities for the game. IO Interactive will only assist with technical aspects during the transition period over the next few weeks to ensure continuity for the community and partners.
As a result of the split, a special crossover mission with Hitman has been cancelled.
The collaboration was handled through the IOI Partners division. This was the first time IO Interactive acted as a third-party publisher. However, the launch of MindsEye turned out to be unsuccessful — the game received some of the lowest scores on Metacritic in 2025.
Reminder: PlayStation 3, which is nearly 20 years old, recently received another system update.
