Iron Galaxy May Have Teased a Fallout New Vegas Remaster

Iron Galaxy Studios has sparked speculation after sharing a brief LinkedIn post about its February company meeting, accompanied by a 72 slide presentation. The first slide immediately caught fans’ attention as it featured the iconic Fallout «PLEASE STAND BY» screen.

The post stated: «Today’s our February company meeting. It’s time to catch up with what the company’s been up to and what’s coming next for IG.» Alongside the text was a photo showing two monitors, both featuring the recognizable Fallout waiting screen. If the studio is not working on a remaster, the imagery seems strikingly direct.

The same image appeared on the company’s BlueSky account and similarly went largely unnoticed for nearly a week. The left monitor shows the familiar Fallout message, while the right reveals that it is slide one of a 72 slide internal presentation.

Following last year’s release of Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, many fans called for updated versions of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Both titles are significantly older and can be difficult to run smoothly on modern hardware. Among the two, New Vegas is often praised as the standout entry of the franchise’s 3D era.

Rumors about a possible remaster of either game have been circulating since the beginning of the year. Speculation was further fueled by a countdown tied to season two of the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video. However, Iron Galaxy’s post appears to be the clearest hint so far.

It remains uncertain which game could receive the remaster treatment. Many fans would prefer New Vegas, developed by Obsidian Entertainment, though that could introduce additional complications since it was not originally created by Bethesda Game Studios. Meanwhile, Fallout 3 is even older and may require a more extensive overhaul. Bethesda has recently favored surprise announcements over long marketing campaigns, so anything is possible.
