Konami has shared the full technical specifications for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, detailing the supported resolutions and frame rates for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on every platform.
On PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, both titles will support resolutions of up to 4K at up to 60 FPS. Konami notes, however, that performance may fluctuate depending on in game effects, specific gameplay scenarios, and PC hardware configurations.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will include multiple display options, including Original Mode without upscaling, Adjusted Mode, High Resolution Mode, and a Custom setting. The High Resolution Mode enhances both the game's visuals and its cinematic cutscenes.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition will run at 60 FPS in both handheld and docked modes, while the original Nintendo Switch version will be limited to 30 FPS across both games.
The collection will also feature bonus content, including the Game Boy Color title Metal Gear: Ghost Babel.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is scheduled to launch on August 27.
