KRIMZ has left Fnatic

Fnatic have officially announced the benching of Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson, bringing an end to his nearly decade-long era with the organization. One of the most recognizable players in the history of Swedish CS leaves the active roster amid a sharp decline in the team’s results in 2026, which effectively pushed Fnatic outside the top 80 in the Valve Regional Standings and cost them a spot at the IEM Cologne Major.

Fnatic’s updated roster currently looks experimental and is composed almost entirely of Ukrainian players: fEAR, jambo, jackasmo, and Br4tkO, along with Latvian coach Independent. The organization, once one of the dominant forces in Counter-Strike, is now undergoing a deep rebuild, and the decision regarding KRIMZ appears to mark the beginning of a new era rather than just a single roster change.
