FURIA player Kaike KSCERATO Cerato talked with Players correspondent Sofiia Pikhalo straight after FURIA win against Aurora.
So, congratulations with today. And first, I would like to ask you about what is on your jersey, this date that you have?
It's my father's birthday. And this is like forever. Eternity. He died three years ago. So he was my inspiration.
I'm so sorry for this question.
It's okay.
So, in memory of your father, you put his date here to have all matches with him on your heart.
Exactly. It also has his medal with his signature here. So I always keep it close to my heart.
You're a very good son. So how this match went for you?
I mean, we won. So, yeah, it feels great.
You're kind of shy because you were beast there.
I mean, I got lucky sometimes, but it is what the game is. I think it will just feel great for me.
Then what's your outcome from this match for tomorrow?
I think that both matches are matching each other because Spirit is a different team and also they have Donk. And Donk is really strong, so we have to be careful with him. And also we have to focus on ourselves more than them.
You had previously a lot of matches with Aurora. What have you done for your team to have this stability inside?
I mean, we prepared a lot. We had two days to prepare for them, two days off to prepare for them. We practiced a lot also. And it is also fun, always fun to play against them because we also have the same map veto. Both of us have have to ban Ancient, so it was great fun to see the veto’s. And also it was always a surprise.
In other bracket, Vitality wait for you. So what do you expect from them if you beat, and I hope you will beat, Spirit?
I mean, Vitality needs to beat tomorrow as well, right? I don't know, we're going to be G2 in MOUZ, right? We're going to face G2 or MOUZ. I think it will be a crazy game. But Vitality is a really stable team, so it's hard to beat them. I'll just focus on Spirit right now. Vitality come next if you want.
I wanted to ask about the dog. I assume that you bring a dog here, and how it is to be with a pet on the tournament?
It feels great. I live with my wife here as well, and my dog. So it is pretty nice to have a time to reset, walk with him outside, and also sleep with my wife, talk with each other. So it feels really great, and it's really helpful for me.
So it's helpful for mental health. Do you have a lot of places in Poland, compared to your home place, to go for a walk with a dog? Because it's winter now.
But he's a winter dog, so he's prepared for this. I'm not. I'm Brazilian.
It's so cold here for you.
Yeah, here it's so cold for me. I mean, it's not the coldest place I've ever been, but I've been here... Actually, Poland was the first time I've seen snow in my life. In 2019. It was in Katowice. So Poland is a special place for me.
