League of Legends Hall of Legends: All Inductees from Faker to Caps (2024-2026)

Since the establishment of the Hall of Legends in 2024, Riot Games has annually honored players who have forever made their mark on League of Legends esports history. To date, three iconic esports athletes have received this highest honor: Faker, Uzi, and Caps.

Both active and former players who have competed in Tier 1 leagues (such as the LCK, LPL, LEC, TCL, etc.) for a minimum of five years are eligible for a place in the Hall of Legends. The inductee is determined by a special panel of judges consisting of representatives from regional leagues and esports communities. The selection process considers the players' international and regional titles, their contributions to the development of esports, and their impact on the competitive meta.

In addition to the prestigious status, inductees receive financial compensation. The player and their former teams receive a portion of the 30% gross revenue generated from the sale of themed battle passes and exclusive cosmetic items. The remaining funds also support the broader global team ecosystem.

2024 — Faker. South Korean midlaner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok unsurprisingly became the first player in history to be inducted into the Hall of Legends. Known by his moniker "The Demon King," he is the greatest player in the discipline. He holds a phenomenal six World Championship titles with T1 (2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, 2024, and 2025). His achievements also include two Mid-Season Invitational victories (2016, 2017), an Asian Games gold medal (2022), and an Esports World Cup title (2024). In honor of his induction, Riot Games released skins for the champions Ahri (Risen and Immortalized Legend) and LeBlanc (Risen Legend).

2025 — Uzi. The second inductee was the prominent Chinese AD Carry Jian "Uzi" Zihao. Known for his aggressive playstyle and the nickname "Mad Dog," he inspired generations of players and became the first esports athlete in the world to sign a contract with Nike. Although Uzi fell just one step short of winning the World Championship twice, reaching the grand finals in 2013 and 2014, he secured the MSI trophy in 2018 with Royal Never Give Up, as well as an Asian Games gold medal, notably defeating Faker in the finals. Skins for the champions Kai'Sa (Risen and Immortalized Legend) and Vayne (Risen Legend) were created for him.

2026 — Caps. Rasmus "Caps" Winther became the first European to join this elite club. The Danish midlaner is the biggest star of Western League of Legends in a discipline historically dominated by Asian teams. Since 2019, he has been the undisputed leader of the European LEC league, winning a total of 16 regional titles with G2 Esports. On the international stage, Caps won MSI 2019 and played in two consecutive World Championship finals (in 2018 with Fnatic and in 2019 with G2). In honor of his induction into the Hall of Legends, developers added skins for the champion Tristana (Risen and Immortalized Legend) to the game.
