At Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Lenovo unveiled one of its most experimental devices yet — the Legion Go Fold. The device combines ideas from the original Lenovo Legion Go with flexible display technology.
At its core is an 11.6-inch Windows tablet. The key feature is a foldable OLED screen that can bend in half:
- Unfolded: A large 11.6-inch display that can be used in either landscape or portrait orientation.
- Folded: The device transforms into a compact handheld console with a 7.7-inch screen. The outer portion of the display (which remains exposed when folded) is designed to turn off to conserve power.
Like the original Legion Go, the controllers are detachable. They can be attached to the sides of the screen in both landscape and portrait orientations. The device can also function like a Surface-style laptop when paired with a keyboard cover.
The current version runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 285V processor (Lunar Lake). This chip is focused more on energy efficiency than maximum gaming performance, raising questions about its suitability for demanding AAA titles.
Most likely, the device in its current form will not reach the market. It is a concept created to showcase technology and gather feedback. However, some of its ideas — such as folding a large display into a compact form factor — could be used in future production models of the Legion Go line.
As a reminder, three new games in the God of War franchise are reportedly in development, one of which will focus on Faye.
