NEOWIZ has confirmed in its latest financial report that the sequel to Lies of P has officially moved beyond the prototype phase and entered full scale development.
It has been around two and a half years since director Choi Ji-won first confirmed the existence of the sequel, and now both NEOWIZ and ROUND8 Studio appear to be ramping up production. However, the company did not reveal many additional details about the project in its Q1 2026 earnings report.
NEOWIZ also highlighted ROUND8’s strong focus on storytelling, calling narrative one of the studio’s core strengths. That is why Seung-ho Jin and Kay Lee were brought in as directors despite their backgrounds as scenario writers.
At the moment, Choi Ji-won is leading development on the sequel, though the other directors could still contribute their narrative expertise in advisory roles.
With Summer Game Fest set to begin on June 5, fans are already hoping for a teaser reveal. Last year, the showcase featured the surprise reveal of the Lies of P: Overture DLC.
