Actress Lizzy Caplan has officially joined the cast of the upcoming television series based on the Far Cry video game franchise, which is being developed by FX. The announcement of her involvement was made on the game's official social media pages. Caplan is best known for her roles in Fleishman Is in Trouble and Masters of Sex.
The television adaptation of Far Cry was first announced in November 2025. The series is being executive produced by Noah Hawley, creator of Fargo, and Rob McElhenney, star and creator of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In addition to serving as an executive producer, McElhenney will also join the cast and portray one of the show's characters.
