The finalists of the upper and lower brackets have been determined at VALORANT Champions 2026. Following two intense matchups, the Brazilian squad LOUD secured a direct ticket to the grand final, while the American team 100 Thieves knocked out G2 Esports and advanced to the lower bracket final, where they will face Team Vitality.
LOUD Makes a Comeback Against Team Vitality
In the upper bracket final, the Brazilian team LOUD defeated Team Vitality with a score of 2:1 across the maps (8:13, 13:5, 13:11).
The beginning of the series favored Vitality, who confidently took the first map, Lotus (13:8), thanks to a convincing performance by Jamppi (19 kills, 12 deaths, 9 assists). However, LOUD completely seized the initiative from there:
- Summit (13:5): The Brazilians equalized the series. The main hero of the map was Lukxo, who showcased impressive individual play (26/12/4 and an ACS of 353).
- Haven (13:11): The deciding map was tightly contested, with LOUD proving stronger in the final rounds thanks to the performance of Erde (24 kills) and Lukxo (23 kills).
Despite 22 frags from Sayonara on Haven, the French club couldn't hold their lead and dropped to the lower bracket.
100 Thieves Knocks G2 Esports Out of the Tournament
In the lower bracket semifinal, 100 Thieves secured a hard-fought victory over G2 Esports with a score of 2:1 (10:13, 13:10, 13:7).
The start of the series on Lotus went to G2 (13:10) due to the combined efforts of jawgemo and leaf, who secured 22 kills each, overshadowing Timotino's performance (24 frags). Finding themselves one step away from elimination, 100 Thieves turned the tide of the series:
- Ascent (13:10): The American squad tied the series with active contributions from Cryocells and bang, who each got 20 eliminations.
- Summit (13:7): On the deciding map, 100 Thieves completely controlled the game. Cryocells played the match at a high level, finishing with 22 kills and an ACS of 292.
