On August 12, esports figure Ghostik launched the largest charity event of the series—Orcfall 3.0, which was in preparation for several months. The project's main goal is to raise 6.7 million UAH for a separate special purpose detachment of the 1st corps of the National Guard of Ukraine"Azov" and the special purpose reconnaissance detachment of the 12th Brigade.
The event combines a fundraising campaign with a gamified process. Participants are invited to unite into clans, explore the game world, complete quests, solve puzzles, and learn character stories. The core mechanic is "farming gold" in the mine, where 1 earned in-game coin equals 1 kopeck of a real donation. New event levels, tasks, and prizes are unlocked gradually, thanks to the total amount of community contributions.
The third level featuring the first PvP minigame, "Battleship" (Techies Bombardment), has already been unlocked for players. Additionally, the organizers have brought back the interactive drawing board, which is highly popular among participants.
A massive prize pool is provided to encourage the community. The top 3 clans that collect the most gold will receive gaming chairs from TX3, computer desks from Technotable, devices from Logitech G, and board games from Kilogames. Furthermore, a PlayStation gaming console (supported by PrivatBank and Visa) and an Acer laptop will be raffled off among all participants who make a direct donation of 100 UAH or more.
