Xbox has announced an unusual giveaway for a custom Xbox Series X console named the Series X-BITE. The design was inspired by the wildlife of Florida: the device is crafted in the shape of a five-foot (over 1.5 meters) alligator that has seemingly swallowed the console whole. Despite this, the console remains fully functional, with its illuminated Nexus logo visible directly through the creature's body. Resting inside the alligator's jaws is a custom wireless controller featuring bite marks and Xbox-green irises.
The unique creature fabrication and animatronics were handled by the renowned John Nolan Studio, known for creating creatures for projects such as The Witcher, Jurassic World Dominion, and HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series.
Only one such console exists in the world, and it can be won through a special sweepstakes. The contest runs from November 3 through November 10, 2026 (ending at 11:59 p.m. PT).
To enter the giveaway, participants must complete three steps on X (Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok:
- Follow the official @Xbox page on the chosen platform.
- Repost the designated official sweepstakes post.
- Add the hashtag
#XbiteSweepstakesto the repost and keep the account public.
The organizers note that the potential winner will have only 48 hours from receiving the notification to claim the prize, after which the reward will be forfeited.
As a reminder, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards in China may see a price increase of up to $500, with the RTX 5080 jumping by $420.
