This marks the end of Monte’s run at this tournament. The team was eliminated from the group stage with a 0–3 record in the Swiss system. Their matches were quite intense, especially against strong opponents like FaZe and NaVi, but in the end the team leaves the tournament.
It is important to note that returning to the S-tier is already a significant achievement for Monte, as after 2024 the team essentially disappeared from the radar. They mostly played in online tournaments and made roster changes from time to time. Now, however, Monte seem to have found a lineup that can compete for solid results. This was shown by their victory in the qualification for ESL Pro League Season 23 and a strong performance in Stage 1 of the same tournament.
During this time, Monte climbed to the top 17 of the VRS ranking and now have a good chance of qualifying for the Major, although it is still too early to relax. It is not yet known which tournaments the team will play next, but it is very likely that they will participate somewhere this month to earn more points and secure their spot at the Major.
