The stylish shooter Mouse: P.I. for Hire has launched successfully, selling around 360,000 copies so far. A notable share of those sales came from consoles, which goes against the broader industry trend.
PlaySide Studios reported a strong global digital release, with the game launching simultaneously on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Early estimates suggest that about 44 percent of total sales came from consoles, supported by high chart placements and strong engagement from content creators.
The title has generated an estimated 10.4 million US dollars in gross revenue, with around 6.3 million US dollars in net sales for the company. It has also ranked highly on Steam and the Nintendo eShop, while its wishlist count has surpassed 2.08 million.
The game received very positive feedback from both players and critics, including an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam and strong scores on OpenCritic and Metacritic. The company notes that its publishing model, focused on cost recovery, positions the game to deliver meaningful short-term cash flow.
As a Reminder, Steam Medieval Fest has begun: discounts, demos and themed games available until April 27.
