MOUZ Crowned Champions of BLAST Bounty Season 2, Breaking Nearly Year-Long Title Drought

MOUZ emerged victorious at BLAST Bounty Season 2, defeating Team Spirit in the grand finals to secure their first championship title in nearly a year. For the refreshed roster, this success served as a vital confirmation that the team is once again ready to compete for the most prestigious trophies on the global Counter-Strike 2 stage.

MOUZ began their journey to the title back during the online stage of BLAST Bounty Season 2. In the first round, the squad handled Nuclear TigeRES with relative ease in a 2:0 victory, although the second map proved more tense than expected.

In the following match, the team faced FOKUS, who had previously pulled off a sensational upset against Aurora. However, another surprise was not to be—MOUZ secured a confident 2:0 victory to seal their spot at the LAN Finals in Malta.

In the quarterfinals, the squad squared off against 3DMAX. Following a loss on Dust2, MOUZ found themselves on the brink of elimination, but managed to pull through a marathon Nuke ending 22:18 after three overtimes, before decisively closing out their opponents on Inferno (13:3). This match stood out as one of the most thrilling comebacks of the tournament.

In the semifinals, MOUZ took on Astralis. The Danish roster claimed the opening map, but MOUZ responded with two convincing wins on Mirage and Dust2 to punch their ticket to the grand final.

In the decisive showdown, MOUZ met Team Spirit, who had cruised through the playoff bracket and were considered tournament favorites. The final fully lived up to expectations, with both teams trading momentum, but MOUZ players executed better in the most critical moments.

Thanks to disciplined teamwork, confident clutch performances, and stable contributions from their key leaders, MOUZ outplayed Spirit to lift the BLAST Bounty Season 2 championship trophy.

For MOUZ, this marks their first title since late 2025. Over recent months, the team had come close to winning major tournaments on several occasions, only to fall just short in finals or late playoff stages.

Winning BLAST Bounty Season 2 not only ended their title drought but also marked a successful debut for the organization’s new roster. MOUZ now head into upcoming tier-one events as primary championship contenders, utilizing this momentum boost ahead of a packed second half of the season.
