Natus Vincere grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov has received an invitation to compete at the Esports World Cup 2026.
The invite was issued based on points earned in the Champions Chess Tour 2025–26 ranking.
Abdusattorov finished 15th in the standings, but eight players above him had already qualified for the EWC through other tournaments, opening up additional qualification slots.
The chess competition will be part of the summer festival of the Esports World Cup 2026 and will take place in Paris from August 11 to August 15. A total of 20 players will compete for a prize pool of $1.5 million.
Last year, Nodirbek Abdusattorov finished in the 5th–8th place range at the EWC.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian national team advanced to the Knockout Stage of the FIFAe Nations League 2026: Europe Week 2.
