The second day of the PUBG: Battlegrounds group stage at the Esports World Cup 2026 concluded yesterday. Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere showed character, significantly improving their performance throughout the day to finish 3rd in the daily standings.
After a rough start, the team managed to turn the tide of the matchday, culminating in a dominant victory in the final match.
NAVI's Day 2 results:
- Match 1: 14th place (3 kills)
- Match 2: 15th place (2 kills)
- Match 3: 4th place (3 kills)
- Match 4: 8th place (7 kills)
- Match 5: 5th place (3 kills)
- Match 6: 1st place (8 kills)
Overall, NAVI scored 44 points on the day. Their victory in the final match allowed the team to wrap up the matchday on a high note and maintain strong chances of advancing to the next stage of the tournament.
In the overall Group Stage standings, the Ukrainian squad currently holds 12th place with 44 points.
As a reminder, following the Group Stage, the top 16 teams will advance to the Esports World Cup 2026 Grand Finals, while the bottom 8 teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
The Group Stage action continues on July 23. Day 3 matches kick off at 14:00 EEST (Kyiv time). These matches could prove decisive in the battle for top-16 spots, promising fans even more intense clashes and thrilling moments. Ukrainian fans will be hoping NAVI maintain the momentum gained at the end of Day 2 and push forward to the Grand Finals.
