The third day of the Swiss Stage at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 has come to an end. BetBoom Team and FUT Esports were the first teams to secure their places in the playoffs, while G2 with Artem “r1nkle” Moroz and 9z were eliminated from the tournament with 0:3 records.
NAVI also deserves special attention. The Ukrainian team started the tournament with two wins but failed to secure a playoff spot on its first attempt, losing 0:2 to BetBoom Team. NAVI will now have to play another match for a place in the next stage.
NAVI Missed Their Chance to Advance with a 3:0 Record
After victories over G2 and FURIA, NAVI entered the third round with a 2:0 record. One more win would have been enough to secure a playoff spot, but BetBoom Team managed to stop the Ukrainian squad.
The match ended 0:2. BetBoom won Dust2 13:10 before taking Nuke 13:9. Despite the defeat, NAVI remain in a strong position with a 2:1 record and will face Vitality in their next match.
FUT and BetBoom Were the First Teams to Reach the Playoffs
BetBoom Team became one of the two teams to finish the day with a perfect 3:0 record. After defeating NAVI, the team secured its place in the playoffs.
The second team to reach the playoffs was FUT Esports. In the third round, FUT defeated Vitality 2:1.
Ukrainian player Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko represents FUT, meaning his team has already secured a top-eight finish at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.
G2 with r1nkle Eliminated
One of the biggest surprises of the third day was the elimination of G2 Esports. The team lost all three of its Swiss Stage series and finished the tournament with a 0:3 record.
In their final match, G2 lost to DENDELE 1:2. Artem “r1nkle” Moroz was among G2’s strongest players on the first map, but that was not enough to secure the series. DENDELE eventually closed out the decisive Inferno 13:5 and eliminated G2.
9z also finished the tournament with a 0:3 record. In the third round, the team lost to TYLOO 1:2.
Other Results from Day 3
Other notable results from the third day included Spirit defeating FURIA 2:1, MOUZ beating The MongolZ 2:0, Aurora defeating Nemiga 2:0, and Liquid taking down Legacy 2:0.
After three rounds, six teams have a 2:1 record and remain in contention for the playoffs. They are NAVI, Vitality, MOUZ, Spirit, Aurora, and Liquid.

For NAVI, this will be a second opportunity to close out the Swiss Stage. After the loss to BetBoom, the Ukrainian team will need to return to winning ways to avoid having to fight through the fifth round.
