New The Witcher 4 Footage to Be Shown on June 1

CD Projekt Red is preparing to unveil a new presentation of The Witcher 4 during Unreal Fest, which will take place in June 2026. According to early reports, the new footage is scheduled to be shown on June 1. This was reported by DSOG.

In its latest podcast, CDPR confirmed that fresh footage from the game will debut at the event. The studio has not yet clarified whether fans will see another in engine cinematic trailer or actual gameplay. Media outlets believe the former is more likely.

The Witcher 4 is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 and will support Lumen and Nanite. The developers previously suggested that the game should run better than many other UE5 titles, something that was already hinted at by the impressive tech demo shown in June 2025.

Players will take on the role of Ciri, with the story focusing on her journey as a fully mutated Witcher facing the return of ancient dark forces while dealing with the consequences of her past actions.

There is still no official release window for The Witcher 4. Current expectations point to a launch no earlier than 2028. However, the early technical showcase impressed many with its smooth 60 FPS performance and ray tracing, giving hope that CD Projekt Red can deliver one of the strongest Unreal Engine 5 games to date.
