GSC Game World has released a new trailer for the story expansion Cost of Hope for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The video premiered on the IGN YouTube channel.
According to the DLC description, Cost of Hope explores a long-standing conflict in the Zone between two iconic factions.
“Cost of Hope explores an ancient conflict in the Zone between two iconic factions. Zulu, a veteran of the Duty faction from the series, and Mavka, a member of Freedom, must uncover new and disturbing secrets of the Zone amid rising tensions.
Caught in a rapidly unfolding chapter of an age-old rivalry, Skif — the player-controlled protagonist — must traverse previously unexplored paths and face dangers beyond human understanding. He will have to choose a side and once again shape the fate of Chornobyl through his decisions.”
The expansion is set to release this summer for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
