Canadian esports organization Luminosity has officially confirmed its return to the professional Counter-Strike scene. The announcement was published on the club's official website.
The new lineup features four former Monte players. Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, Aurélien "afro" Drapier, and Oscar "AZUWU" Bell joined as free agents after their contracts expired. Meanwhile, Luminosity purchased Aleksa "Rainwaker" Petrov from the Ukrainian organization Monte.
The fifth player is Brazilian rifler Lucas "lux" Meneghini, formerly of Legacy. He joins the roster as the team's new in-game leader, replacing Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen.
According to HLTV, Monte's management attempted to extend the contracts of three players before the Major. However, following the team's elimination from the tournament, the players informed the Ukrainian organization that they intended to pursue new opportunities.
Luminosity's first event with the new roster will be XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026, which began today.
