Palworld Has Sold Over 30 Million Copies and Generated $700 Million in Revenue

According to estimates from Alinea Analytics, Palworld has now sold more than 30.5 million copies worldwide, generating approximately $700 million in revenue. Steam accounts for the vast majority of sales, contributing around 86% of all copies sold.

Since the launch of version 1.0, the game has sold nearly 1.5 million additional copies on Steam, bringing in about $25 million in gross revenue. PlayStation added roughly 300,000 copies (around $7 million), while Xbox sold just under 70,000 copies. Analysts note that Xbox sales were significantly affected by the game's availability through Game Pass.

Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics said that the 1.0 release also brought a large number of players back to the game. Average daily active users reached 3.7 million over the past weekend, while monthly active users across PC and consoles are on track to surpass 10 million this month.

The report also highlights the overwhelmingly positive player response to version 1.0 despite some minor optimization issues:

«To many players, Palworld satisfies the open-world monster-catching fantasy that 90s kids grew up wanting, while its survival systems add systemic depth».

Engagement remains strong as well. Around 20% of Steam owners (roughly 5.2 million players) have logged more than 100 hours in the game, while nearly 200,000 users have exceeded 500 hours of playtime.

Pocketpair previously announced that Palworld had surpassed 40 million players overall. Of that audience, 64.9% comes from Steam, 31.1% from Xbox, largely driven by Game Pass, and the remaining 4% from PlayStation.
