PC Building Simulator 2 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

PC Building Simulator 2 is officially heading to consoles. Owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be able to build, repair and fine tune PCs starting February 26. The console release is handled by Epic Games Publishing in partnership with developer Spiral House, and it will include all free updates released to date.

PC players have known the game for years, as it first launched on January 29, 2019 via Steam. Now the realistic PC building simulator with licensed components is expanding to new platforms. PC Building Simulator 2 features a full career mode where players run their own PC repair shop, upgrade the workshop, buy new tools and complete customer orders. Better performance leads to higher profits, positive reviews and access to more advanced builds.

Those who just want to «play with hardware» can jump into free build mode. It offers more than 1200 components, including custom liquid cooling, CPU and GPU overclocking and memory timing tweaks. Systems can be stress tested using 3DMark and Cinebench, while tools like Fan Control, a thermal camera and power consumption monitoring are also available. Both PCs and the workshop can be customized with RGB lighting, spray paint, stickers, wallpapers and posters.

The game includes several modes, such as a story driven career, an endless survival style mode and a free build mode with unlimited budget. Fans joke that, with real world RAM prices and shortages driven by AI demand, PC Building Simulator feels almost like fantasy. In game, memory shortages do not exist, even though similar issues are rumored to affect Sony plans for the PlayStation 6.

As a reminder, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Are Coming to Xbox Game Pass Soon.
