The developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds have announced a new game mode created as part of a collaboration with the cooperative shooter series PAYDAY. The event will introduce a new PvE mode where the main objective is to plan and successfully execute large-scale heists.
According to the released gameplay trailer, the mode will feature several locations, including bank branches, a diamond district, and a highway. Across all these areas, players will face armed enemies.
The gameplay will require strong team coordination: first securing the loot, then retreating under heavy enemy fire.
The special event will launch in two stages:
- PC — May 13
- Consoles — May 21
