PUBG Receives Major Patch 41.1 with New Content

The developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds have released update 41.1. The battle royale has received a new game mode, along with map and weapon changes.

The main addition is the Xeno Point mode — a PvE experience with roguelite elements, where players fight alien enemies on an alternate version of the Miramar map.

Another important change is the introduction of destructible terrain on Erangel. Explosions, grenades, mortars, and vehicles can now alter the landscape.

A hybrid scope with 1x/4x switching and the Tilted Grip attachment have also been added, improving recoil control. At the same time, balance changes were introduced, and some existing attachments and weapons were reworked.

A new feature has been added to the Blue Chip Tower, allowing you to bring back your teammates.

You can now call in an airdrop by spending enemy chips near the tower. While this crate looks the same as flare gun drops, its contents and drop rates differ.

The Jammer Pack is now available in three levels (1 to 3), each with the same capacity as standard backpacks of the corresponding level. Blue Zone damage absorption increases depending on the level.

A new item, the Emergency Supply Flare, has been added. It can be found in airdrops, secret rooms, loot trucks, Lab Camps, and supply drops. The supply crate will land at a random spot within about a 1-meter radius from the flare’s landing point.
