The developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds have announced the release of the major Update 41.2, bringing several collaborations and significant gameplay changes to the game.
The centerpiece of the update is the temporary PAYDAY mode, created in collaboration with the PAYDAY franchise. Players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of professional heists.
The second major feature of the patch is a partnership with Harley-Davidson. The game now includes an exclusive skin for the CVO Road Glide ST motorcycle.
Patch 41.2 also significantly expands close-combat gameplay with the introduction of tactical finishing moves. Players can now use unique execution animations on knocked enemies with melee weapons such as frying pans, machetes, crowbars, and sickles. The developers plan to expand the list of supported weapons in future updates.
Other additions include:
- New secret locations that can now be found on the Miramar map
- A limited-time weekend tournament designed to provide players with additional competitive experiences
As a reminder, Riot Games recently shared its plans for upcoming VALORANT updates.
