Rayman Legends: Retold Screenshots Leak Ahead of Official Reveal

Gameplay screenshots of Rayman Legends: Retold have surfaced online before the game's official announcement.

The images appeared through a preview article from a media outlet that was accidentally published before the embargo expired. Although the article was quickly removed, archived versions remain accessible through the Wayback Machine.

Fans who viewed the screenshots noticed major visual changes compared to the original release. The distinctive watercolor-inspired art style appears to have been replaced with a more modern visual presentation.

According to Insider Gaming, the outlet has already seen several hours of gameplay footage and was impressed by the graphical improvements. The publication noted that the leaked screenshots do not fully showcase the game's visual quality. While some fans questioned the decision to remake a title that originally launched in 2013 and still holds up well today, the new version is expected to offer more than upgraded visuals, including new levels, features, and additional content.

Previous leaks have also suggested that Rayman Legends: Retold will include the original Rayman Origins at no extra cost, effectively offering two games in one package. The remake is also expected to feature couch co-op support.

Rayman Legends: Retold is currently scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game is expected to be officially unveiled during today's PlayStation State of Play presentation.
