Riot Games has announced that the map Ascent will return to the active VALORANT map pool. At the same time, Bind will be removed from the competitive rotation. The news was shared via the game’s official social media channels.
The change will take effect with Patch 12.08. Ascent has been absent from the competitive pool since October 2025.
With the release of Patch 12.08, the VALORANT map pool will be:
- Ascent
- Breeze
- Fracture
- Haven
- Lotus
- Pearl
- Split
