Epic Games and Psyonix have announced that Rocket League will receive Easy Anti-Cheat starting next week. The update is scheduled to go live on April 28, according to the game’s official social media.
“ATTENTION: Easy Anti-Cheat will be enabled for Rocket League starting April 28. More details coming next week!”
Easy Anti-Cheat is already used in many popular titles, including Sea of Thieves, Elden Ring, Squad, and Fortnite.
Following the announcement, players quickly expressed concerns in the comments. One of the main worries is that the change could disrupt or completely disable popular mods that provide features like advanced statistics, custom sound effects, and training tools.
