Season 6 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone will mark the final major content update for the game's current lifecycle. According to the Season 5 Battle Pass timer, the new phase is set to launch on September 17, 2026. Despite the lack of an official announcement from Activision, delays are unlikely, and developers are expected to unveil a complete content roadmap in the coming days.
Main Content of Season 6:
- "The Haunting" Event: The autumn Halloween event kicks off alongside the season on September 17 and will run until the launch of Modern Warfare 4 on October 23, introducing themed modes, rewards, and map variants.
- Zombies Mode: The addition of a brand-new Zombies map.
- Multiplayer: Standard content additions, including new maps, weapons, and game modes.
The release of a full mid-season "Season 6 Reloaded" update in mid-to-late October remains unlikely. Given that Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch in the same timeframe, Activision is expected to forgo further major content patches for Black Ops 7 following September 17. However, the Warzone battle royale may continue to receive standalone updates prior to its full integration with MW4 in late autumn or early December.
As a reminder, The Witcher 3 has sold 65 million copies, while Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed the 40 million mark.
