SLONIK on Wolves’ Preparation for PMGO S1: “The Main Focus Was on Our Own Game”

Wolves Esports captain Oleksii SLONIK Totskyi gave a brief comment to Players ahead of his team’s start at PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 1.

How is your adaptation in Asia going, and how would you assess the team’s morale?

The adaptation is going well. The tournament was organized in a way that gives us several days to acclimatize before the matches begin, which is completely sufficient. The team’s morale is good. We were fortunate that there are no other teams contesting our loot spots during the group stage.

What was your main focus during preparation?

The main focus was on our own game, since the team is new. However, we also kept an eye on the teams located close to us on the map.

What are your minimum and maximum goals for this tournament?

The minimum goal is to qualify for the finals. The maximum goal is to secure a slot in Macau for the PUBG Mobile Macau Invitational 2026.

Wolves Esports was placed in Group B for PMGO S1. Therefore, the team will play its matches on June 3.

As a reminder, we previously also spoke with Boars Gaming coach Bamb1ni.
