Sony significantly increases prices for PS5 and PlayStation Portal
- In the official PlayStation blog, Sony announced that due to “continued pressure in the global economic landscape,” it has decided to raise prices worldwide for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal. The changes will take effect on April 2, 2026.
Study: 3 out of 4 women play games, but spend less than men
- The analytics platform Newzoo examined the female gaming market. According to the Global Gamer Study 2025, which covered 36 markets, 76% of women among the global online population played games in the past six months. For comparison, the figure among men is 83%.

- China’s League of Legends Pro League (LPL) announced a lifetime ban for naiyou, the jungler of Top Esports. The decision was made after confirming the player’s involvement in organizing match-fixing in League of Legends.

- Ukrainian studio Hologryph reported that its extraction shooter SAND: Raiders of Sophie will not be released in March 2026. According to the developers, the delay is caused by prolonged power outages.
Letitia James, who sued Valve, now under investigation herself
- Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York who previously filed a lawsuit against Valve, is now facing scrutiny. Bill Pulte, head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) appointed by the Trump administration, has submitted new criminal referrals to prosecutors, calling for an investigation into her actions.
