The massive offline tournament, Fortnite Champion Series 2026 - Global Championship, has concluded at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium. Over the course of September 26 and 27, the 50 best duos in the world played 12 matches, competing for the prestigious title and a total prize pool of $2 million.
SwizzY and Pixie emerged as the tournament winners and holders of the Axe of Champions trophy, taking home the main prize of $400,000. The duo showcased exceptional consistency: although their first and only win came as late as the tenth round, they maintained a positive flow throughout the games. By the end of the championship, the pair secured 39 eliminations, racked up 525 points, and achieved an average placement of 13.42. This provided them with a confident 32-point lead over their closest pursuers ahead of the deciding matches.
The duo of shxrk and t3eny claimed second place and $240,000 in prize money, while Malibuca and vic0 took third place with a $160,000 prize.
This year's tournament once again proved that overall efficiency is crucial for taking the lead, rather than just winning individual games. A prime example of this was the performance of the Higgs and Curve duo: the players managed to secure two wins, but due to a lack of consistency in other rounds, they finished the competition in 10th place overall.
