Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick commented on rumors surrounding the price of GTA VI during the IICON gaming executives conference. Despite widespread speculation about a $100 price tag, the company has not yet provided any final confirmation regarding the game’s cost.
Zelnick emphasized that the company’s top priority is delivering value that significantly exceeds the price of the product.
“Consumers pay for the value you deliver to them, and our job is to charge significantly, significantly, significantly less than the value we provide,” Zelnick said (via IGN). “Your feeling about what you buy is the intersection of the item itself and how much you pay for it. Consumers need to feel that the thing itself is incredible, and that the price they paid was fair for what they received.”
The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
As a reminder, hackers in the Lviv region breached over 600,000 Roblox accounts and sold them in Russia.
