Team Vitality Extends Contracts with ZywOo and apEX Until 2028

The French esports organization Team Vitality has announced contract extensions for key players of its Counter-Strike roster — Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Dan "apEX" Madesclaire. The new contracts are valid until 2028.

Both esports athletes joined the club in the fall of 2018 and traveled the path from the original French lineup to a world-class international roster. During this time, the duo has secured three Major championship titles together, and under apEX's leadership as captain, the organization also won two ESL Grand Slam tournament cycles. For ZywOo, Vitality remains the only Tier-1 team in his career following his transition from aAa.

The players emphasized that the decision to stay with the organization is a logical step, as the club provides all the conditions to maintain leading positions in world CS. It was also confirmed that 33-year-old apEX will temporarily miss the upcoming PG Masters Bucharest tournament due to the birth of his first child, but will subsequently continue competing at the head of the team.

Vitality CEO Fabien "Neo" Devide noted the special significance of this event for the club:
