Tournament operator BLAST has revealed the teams that received direct invitations to BLAST Slam VII in Dota 2. The information was published on the organizer’s social media.
The following teams received direct invites:
- Team Liquid
- BetBoom Team
- Tundra Esports
- Team Falcons
- Team Spirit
- Team Yandex
- OG
- HEROIC
Four more teams will qualify for the tournament through regional qualifiers.
Notably, NAVI did not receive an invitation, despite reaching the grand final of BLAST Slam VI.
BLAST Slam VII will take place from May 25 to June 7 in a hybrid format. The group stage will be held online, while the playoffs will take place at BLAST Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The tournament will feature a prize pool of $1 million.
