Tekken 8 Season 3 trailer reveals the full roadmap

Bandai Namco has released the Season 3 trailer for Tekken 8, outlining the game’s development plans for the coming year. The new season is set to begin in February 2026 and will run through winter 2027.

Alongside the trailer, the developers shared the key milestones for the launch of Season 3:

Season 3 will focus on a phased content rollout. Players who purchase the Season 3 Pass will immediately receive the exclusive Aurora Outfit Pack customization set, available for all characters released up to Season 2 as well as those planned for Season 3.

New fighters will be added throughout the season. Kunimitsu is scheduled to arrive in late spring, Bob will join the roster in summer, and Roger Jr. is planned for autumn. An additional character and a new stage are both slated for winter 2027. Season 3 Pass owners will also gain 120 hours of early access to new content.

From February 10 to March 16, Tekken 8 will celebrate its second anniversary with a special in-game campaign featuring free cosmetic rewards, multiple customization packs, and a large-scale sale in the TEKKEN SHOP.

A major update, version 3.00, is set to launch on March 17. It will introduce battle balance adjustments, ranked match resets, matchmaking improvements, and the beta launch of the TEKKEN Dev Feedback Portal.

Starting May 1, Tekken 8 will officially enter the 2026 competitive season, once again becoming part of the Tekken World Tour, with qualifiers beginning at EVO Japan 2026 in Tokyo.

As a reminder, FiveM surpasses GTA 5 in player count over the past week.
