Tencent Files Trademark for Honor of Kings: Ace, a New PC Game

Tencent has filed a new trademark application with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for Honor of Kings: Ace. While little is currently known about the project, the registration documents indicate that it will be a PC game with a strong esports focus.

The new trademark application in the EUIPO database was first spotted by ThePhraseMaker journalist Mudassir Hussain. For many years, the series has been developed primarily within the mobile ecosystem, where it remains one of the highest-grossing MOBA games.

The new EUIPO filing was discovered by a user known as ThePhraseMaker. Based on the registration documents for Honor of Kings: Ace, the following details about the upcoming project can be identified:

At the same time, Tencent is also working on another project set in the same universe — Honor of Kings: World. The game has already been officially announced and is positioned as an open-world RPG in the style of Genshin Impact.
