The development team behind the superhero shooter Marvel Rivals has denied reports claiming that players found a way to bypass the game’s anti-cheat system. NetEase reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy toward cheaters and stated that strict countermeasures have already been implemented.
In an official statement, the developers clarified that the anti-cheat system cannot be disabled through launch parameters, contrary to rumors circulating online. The security software starts simultaneously with the game client and cannot operate separately. According to the team, the setting changes mentioned in the rumors only hide the anti-cheat notification pop-up, while the protection itself remains fully active.
Following an internal investigation, the developers identified users who were using cheats, prohibited third-party tools, and unauthorized modifications of the game client. All violators received permanent bans.
As a reminder, Gran Turismo 7 will receive new hypercars on June 11.
