The United States Becomes the Absolute Leader in Qualifications for the Inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026

In esports, much like the Olympic Games, it is now possible to follow the global achievements of the strongest nations. The debut international tournament, the Esports Nations Cup 2026, is expected to take place in Riyadh. The competition will feature 16 different games, with esports athletes competing in both solo and team disciplines.

Currently, more than 100 countries from across all continents have secured participation in at least one event of the program, but the United States of America has emerged as the undisputed leader of the qualifiers. Thanks to their long-established presence in the industry, a relatively favorable North American qualification region, and the existence of major exclusive leagues, the US has qualified for all 16 games. To date, it is the only nation to achieve a 100 percent success rate.

Aside from the US, the top ten countries by the number of qualifications include:

Ukraine has also secured its place in this large-scale tournament. Domestic esports athletes have successfully passed the qualifiers and have currently guaranteed our national team representation in five competitive disciplines.

The formation of the final list of participants is still ongoing. Although the recipients of direct invitations for the EA Sports FC and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang disciplines have already been officially confirmed, the overall ranking may still undergo changes. The final standings of the countries will be determined only after the conclusion of all continental qualifying matches ahead of the start of the Esports Nations Cup.
