Riot Games has announced details of the new online tournament, EMEA Clash, which will take place from February 19 to 25.
The tournament features a unique format with two parallel double-elimination brackets. If a team loses in the Alpha upper bracket, it drops to the Omega lower bracket — and vice versa. This system gives teams additional chances to stay in contention.
The quarterfinal matchups are now confirmed:
Alpha Bracket
- 20:00 — FOKUS vs UCAM Esports Club
20:00 — FUT Esports vs Joblife
Omega Bracket
- 22:30 — Enterprise Esports vs Stallions Esports
22:30 — ULF Esports vs Beşiktaş Esports
This is the first event of this format, where six teams from the franchised VCT EMEA league will compete against six of the best teams from the regional Challengers leagues.
